Your Vedic Birth Chart

Enter your birth details below. The app will calculate your complete Vedic horoscope — the precise positions of all planets at the moment of your birth — and interpret what those positions mean across the six key areas of your life.

Every interpretation is generated from your specific chart, not generic zodiac text. The calculation uses the Swiss Ephemeris engine — the same precision standard used by NASA and professional Jyotish astrologers worldwide.

Ayanamsha corrects for the slow drift of the equinox against the fixed stars. Lahiri is the standard for Parashari Jyotish — do not change unless you know why.
Whole Sign houses mean each zodiac sign occupies exactly one house. This is the system used in classical Indian astrology.
Why birth time matters
A 4-minute error in birth time shifts the Lagna by 1°. That can move it into a different sign entirely, changing your entire chart. Use hospital records or birth certificates wherever possible.

D1 — Rashi Chart (Birth Chart)
This is your primary birth chart. It shows the actual positions of all 9 planets in the sky at the moment you were born, divided across 12 houses. Think of it as a map of the life you were born into — the promises, challenges, and natural tendencies written into your existence from the start. D1 is always read first.
D9 — Navamsha Chart (Soul & Maturity Chart)
The D9 is a divisional chart derived mathematically from your D1. Each sign in D1 is divided into 9 equal parts — your D9 shows which of those parts each planet falls in. It reveals the deeper, soul-level quality of each planet's expression, and most importantly shows how the D1 promises actually mature and deliver in the second half of life. If D1 promises something and D9 confirms it, the result is strong and lasting. If D9 contradicts D1, the early promise fades.

What is Vimshottari Dasha?

Dasha is the timing system of Vedic astrology — it divides your 120-year life span into planetary periods, each ruled by a different planet. During each Dasha, that planet's themes and energy dominate your life experience. Understanding which Dasha you are currently in, and how that planet sits in your specific chart, is the key to precise life predictions.

Each Maha Dasa (major period) is subdivided into Antar Dasas (sub-periods). The current Antar Dasa shows where the focus is within the broader Maha Dasa theme.

How domain insights work

Each domain is scored by examining the relevant houses, house lords, and planetary karakas (significators) in both D1 and D9. The scoring uses your lagna's functional benefic/malefic classification, planetary dignity, combustion status, special aspects, and yoga detection. Nothing here is generic — every line refers to a specific placement in your chart.

Planetary positions at birth

All positions are sidereal (Lahiri ayanamsha). Degrees shown within the sign (0°–30°). The D9 sign shows where the planet falls in the Navamsha chart — confirming or modifying its D1 strength.
